Hello All,
We returned back to Kathmandu this evening (Wed) at 630 PM. It took over ten hours to drive down from our church in Ram Bazaar Lamjung. Severe traffic jams and many serious accidents along the way. Thank you to so many who have sent positive emails and Facebook messages letting us know you were praying.
I’ve never seen such incredible beauty or been so close to the actual Himalaya mountains. It is breathtaking, but also quite daunting. The roads are horrifically bad, in some places there just aren’t any. There are dirt roads that run thru rivers and in some places, bridges that the local villagers build to accommodate vehicles.
As posted earlier, we are amazed that a young couple would be determined to get up there and begin preaching and church planting. We are so encouraged at these young men and their wives who will soon be living up there.
The Pastors conference at the Ram Bazaar church was a huge success. We hold a three day conference every month, each time rotating to a different PUMA church.
The guys love the fellowship with each other, sharing challenges and victories (!!) and being taught the Word by the most qualified Pastors we can bring in to Lamjung. They are all growing together as are their churches.
